Denarius of Geta
Denarius of Geta, Roman Empire AD198-209 in silver. Born in 189, son of Septimius Severus and Julia, he lived too short a time to make history. He accompanied his father on his expedition against the Parthians. Geta had many qualities and was much loved. He was assassinated by his brother Caracalla and died in his mother’s arms in 209, he was 23 years old.
