Denarius of Furia
Silver Denarius of Furia , circa 104 BC. The Furia gens of patrician origin is one of the oldest Roman families. Originally, the ancients tell us, her name was Fusia. It is believed that the Furii came from Tusculum because very old inscriptions with their names have been found in the ruins of this city.
