As of Antoninus Pius (138-161) in bronze. Antoninus Pius was born in 86. Appreciated by Hadrian, after the death of Aélius he succeeded him and took the name of Titus Aélius Hadrianus Antoninus. Antoninus was a man full of kindness and clemency and without doubt one of the best of all Roman emperors. He died in Lores in 161 aged 74. His son-in-law Marc Aurèle succeeded him.
