Know your finger size

You have found the perfect ring for your girlfriend, boyfriend or yourself but the problem is that you don’t know her or your finger size. Here are some practical tips for knowing your finger size.

Know your ring size thanks to the ring sizer

All you have to do is print your ring sizer. Then, taking an old ring, slide it on your support until you find the right size. Warning ! If you can no longer see the ring sizer or if it is smaller than your ring, then you are not the right size. On the other hand, if it corresponds perfectly to the diameter of your ring, then you have found your size!

Measure the diameter of your finger to know its size

If you don’t have a model ring, you can take a small strip (paper or non-stretch thread) that you wrap loosely around the finger (on which you will wear your ring). Then you just need to make a small mark on the two sides that meet. Next, you just have to take your ruler and measure the gap between the two marks. If the length is 4.8 cm, for example, then convert it to millimeter (48 mm) and you will get the size of the finger circumference (48). You can also measure the inside diameter of your ring with a ruler or caliper and multiply the result by pi (3.141) to find the circumference, and therefore the size.
You can now buy your ring in the right size!
