JEWELERY REPAIRS AND RESTORATION:
Thanks to our workshop run by qualified craftsmen, we carry out all kinds of repairs:
– Cutting/setting of precious and fine stones.
– Sizing of rings.
– Pearl stringing
– Clockwork.
– Jewelry polishing and ultrasonic cleaning.
EXPERTISE:
We offer a written expertise service where we can evaluate the value of pieces of jewellery. This evaluation is accepted by insurrance companies and the service’s price is 5% of the estimated value of the items without tax.
AUTHENTICITY:
Jewellery sold on our website osprey.fr as well as in our physical sales locations are submitted to strict controls and hallmarked by the Direction Nationale de la Garantie, a subsidiary of the Direction Générale des Douanes et des Droits Indirects.
Certain diamonds and other precious stones may benefit from a certificate of authenticity issued by the GIA, the HRD or by the Laboratoire Français de la Gemmologie de Paris.
Unless otherwise stated, the jewelry sold on our site is certified to be in 750/1000th gold or 925/1000th silver.
Any item sold by us can be sent anywhere in the world accompanied by a certificate of authenticity as well as a detailed invoice with all the characteristics of the jewel.
RESPONSIBILITY :
Any defect emanating from a voluntary or involuntary accident from the buyer such as crushing or striking damage, falls or even attempts at self-repair without prior contact with our services nullifies any responsability that the Comptoir Européen Achat et Vente may have.
Our website was created with the greatest care to give you full satisfaction as well as a perfect appreciation of our products. Yet pictures and descriptions or our articles are not contractual.
Possibility of poor appreciation of colors.
No technical or typographical error can give rise to a claim on the part of the purchaser.
During transport, all our items are insured.
ORDER CONFIRMATION :
Each item being unique, we strongly advise you to contact us to confirm your order at 01.40.15.9000; which will mean the conclusion of the sale by the Comptoir Européen Achat et Vente.
Confirmation/cancellation of the order will be delivered to you in writing (via email or post).
This will specify the summary as well as the terms of delivery.
It must be returned to us signed by you for validation.
Following this validation, as well as that of payment, the order is then accepted and triggered by SARL Comptoir Européen Achat et Vente.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD :
Despite all the care we pour into the descritpion and the quality of our products, if they do not meet your exoectations, you have a 7 day period to signifyyour desire to cancel the sale starting on the day of reception of the package. This is in compliance with the law on mail order. Please note that this option is only available for purchases made by mail order on the website “www.osprey.fr”. The Comptoir Européen Achat et Vente does not offer refunds for products bought in physical locations except if the reason for the refund is a hidden defect.
CONDITIONS FOR EXCHANGE / RETURN / REFUND :
For any possible exchange/refund, it is imperative to return the item to us in its original box, along with the certificate of authenticity and the invoice.
Any article having undergone a modification compared to its original state cannot be taken back. (resizing, engraving, etc.)
The return of a product is possible within a delay of 7 days after the day of the sale in a physical sales location or 7 days after the reception of the package.
The return can be done in exchange for a voucher with a 1 month expiration date starting on the day the product is received by the Comptoir Europeen Achat et Vente in a physical sales location or in the form of an exchange with one or multiple products with an equal or higher value that the one returned to the Comptoir Europeen Achat et Vente.
In the case of an exchange, the Comptoir Europeen Achat et Vente reserves itself the right to bill the eventual price difference between products if the resulting price is higher than what was initially paid.
In the event of reimbursement, Comptoir Européen Achat et Vente will be able to deduct the costs of delivery and insurance.
About refunds because of hidden defects :
This type of refund is under 3 conditions :
-The hidden defect has to have not been apparent when the purchase was made.
-The hidden defect has to make the product unusable or severly diminish it’s usability.
-The Comptoir Européen Achat et Vente has the right to refuse the refund if the product has been altered by another workshop or person that would make it impossible to determine the cause of the defect or it’s date of origin.
ACCEPTED METHODS OF PAYMENT:
By bank check payable to SARL Comptoir Européen Achat et Vente accompanied by our printed and signed order confirmation and a photocopy of the front and back of a legible and valid identity document.
By credit card Visa, Mastercard, American Express.
TRANSPORTATION :
The delivery area of “osprey.fr” covers the entire globe. Those made outside Europe are only for purchases paid by bank transfer.
In France, except in exceptional cases, your jewelery will be delivered to you at the value declared by the Post Office.
For Europe and the rest of the world, the amount of the costs varies according to the place of delivery as well as the amount of the order.
The prices, as well as the effective deadlines, will be specified to you upon confirmation of the order.
DELIVERY DELAY :
For all countries, approximately 5 days after the registration of your kind payment by our bank. The procedures for payment by check or bank transfer last approximately 10 days as for their validation by our bank.
CONTROLLED DELIVERY
After registration of your order, you will receive by email a file number which will allow you to follow the location of your order in real time with our logistics partners, either by telephone or on their website. In order to ensure perfect condition and perfect safety during transport, all our products are carefully protected by sealed packaging.
P.O. BOXES
For security reasons, your signature will be required upon receipt of your order. Any shipment to a PO box is therefore totally excluded.
